Description
Overview
The Bauer Supreme 3S Hockey Shin Guard is loaded with value and protection for the competitive hockey player seeking maximum coverage with unlimited mobility.
Bauer used their AMP construction in every price point this year, including the 3S, to give all Supreme users the benefits of its mobility for powerful strides. This unique design is found in two places on the shin cap, allowing the shell to flex more than any other on the market.
From top to bottom, hard molded plastic ensures great protection with an ErgoDynamic knee cap that provides a deeper fit for maximum coverage. The calf utilizes standard foam with a plastic insert for reinforcement, providing players with lightweight protection.
The 3S features a super soft, removable liner that sits on the knee properly thanks to the knee cut-out. It uses Bauer’s Thermo Max liner that excels at handling sweat and moisture for a more comfortable game experience!

Sizing Chart
GENERAL SHIN GUARD SIZING GUIDELINES | |
---|---|
Sitting at a 90-degree angle, measure from the bottom of your kneecap to the top of your foot parallel with your ankle. This measurement equals your pad size, which is worn over the skate tongue. This is the most popular style that offers more coverage and is best suited for defensemen and shot-blocking forwards. | |
If you prefer to wear the shin guard under the skate tongue, simply subtract 1″ from your measurement, which equals going one pad size down. This style provides a lighter, lower-profile, and snug fit that’s suited for the quick and agile player. |
