Brand new for the 2020 hockey season are the Bauer Vapor 2X Senior Hockey Shin Guards from Bauer Hockey. Designed with key features and revision, the 2X Shin Guards are some of the best to date.
Starting off with the frontal sections of the 2X Shin Guards, at the top in the kneecap is a Deep Fit Pro Volume Kneecap designed to prevent against impacts such as blocked shots and falling down. At the shin, you will see a new X-Lite Shield Shin Cap which is also designed to block shots and help prevent injury from slashes all while being incredibly lightweight.
Around on the back of the 2X, you will see a Hyperlite HD molded Calf Guard which will protect the back of the players legs comfortably. Up higher is an HD Foam Knee Wrap cover the side of the players knee and at the very top is a flexible MD foam piece that will allow the play to bend they knee effectively.
Finally, the strapping is a DynaFlex Lock Strap with Tune Fit calf strapping to dial in the exact fit each player desires from a shin guard. Internally, you will find a removable molded comfort liner made out of Thermo Max+ which will keep the player cool during use.

Sizing Guidelines:Â Shinguards are measured best while the player is sitting. Shinguards, which are either too long or too short, will result in the knee or instep being exposed and unprotected. Shinguards should be secured with shinguard straps or tape. To fit properly:
- Determine the level of play
- Measure from the center of the kneecap to the top of the skate boot
- Match the player’s shin size to the inches of shinguard
